Subject:Missing first note of MIDI when dragged to track

Hello,

I have found another issue which I think is worth posting here so Peter can see it.

When dragging a MIDI file into Acid 6.0d from Stylus RMX 1.5.1c, the first note is missed -- if dragging to a preexistent track. The first note of the MIDI file only plays when the file is looped.

The first note is NOT missed if the same MIDI file is dragged from Stylus to create a new track.

Example: the element "120-Boomy Kick 1" in the "Kicks 4x4" suite of Groove Elements.

The workaround for the missed first note is to extend with the pencil tool the left edge of the MIDI file in the track list.

Peter -- I have not written to tech support about this because I assume you can follow it up. Let me know if I should write to them, though.

[EDIT - UPDATE - confirmed by Spectrasonics as an issue with Acid, apparently. They are not sure why it happens.]

Iain

Thanks Zacchino but just to be clear -- do you mean you *can* reproduce this issue, or that it works ok for you?
