They don't work with any Mac OS at all.

However, you can install something like boot camp on the newer Intel-based Macs and boot up into Windows, then run the Sony Creative Software applications.

Can we help you fix your 'compatibility issues' ? Probably cheaper that jumping on the iGravyTrain.

A lot of my issues stem from Windows XP/Media. My PC will on occasion reboot itself because of the conflict with the internal XP/Media drivers and my audio device drivers. I use an external sound card/Control Surface and also have MIDI devices connected to my PC.

I understand that Apple computers are a lot more stable when using external audio devices. However, I have also heard that Windows Vista is much better than Windows XP/Media.

I will probably looking @ upgrading to Vista in a couple of months to give it some more time to work out the kinks.

Thanks for responding to my post.

You'd be a lot better off upgrading to XP Pro and ditching all the Windows Media stuff. XP without Media is very stable, just as much so as any Mac is.

You have heard a lot of things that are mostly false !

Don't look at 'upgrading' to Vista - it is a slow pig and the enhancements are more obstructive than helpful. And driver support is spotty for pre-existing devices.

However you also do already have a bit of a pig already, in the XP Media Edition, which is frought with compatibility problems due to it's own internal dickery.

I suggest that you upgrade to regular XP Pro (or Home) , and suspect all your problems will be gone. Save Vista until your next year's upgrade, when CPU power will have increased to approach XP's performance 'now' ! XP is now almost, and with the imminent SP3, is reputed to be going to be twice the 'speed' of Vista....

Getting an Apple-anything will not guarantee stability (despite what zealots and ad-writers will claim), and lock you into a higher-price world with a lower range of choice in what you run/attach.

Not that I hate Appe or anything like that ! ;-)
