Subject:midi velocity ??

I go to view
Show Midi inline editing
note on velocity check

and when I adjust the velocity figure ( ie 0-128) it doesn't do anything to the emphasis of the midi note. I adjust it to 0 and it plays at same velocity as if its set on 128.
Any clues. I am trying to adjust the perceived volume of the striken notes.

Are you sure that each note is adjusted accordingly?

Try leaving Inline MIDI Editing mode and then right-click the clip in question > Clip Properties. There should be an area below that contains (by default) velocity info. Check to see if the velocity varies there.

What synth are you sending to?

Does this synth listen to Velocity?
