Subject:*Not* loading most recent file upon opening SF

Hello,

If I close down SF with a file open, then reopen the program, the file that was previously open is automatically re-opened.

Is there a way to turn this behaviour off?

Thanks for any tips,
Iain

Options -preferences
uncheck "open default workspace on startup"

Thanks, that's fixed it! I didn't know what that option did before.

I keep that on sometimes, off sometimes, depending.
The first to go are the splash screen and the option that has the software calling home automatically.

Is "calling home automatically" a (paranoid?) euphemism for getting .net notifications? ;-)

If i want to start up Sound Forge with a file open i'll double-click that file (or .veg for Vegas, .acd for ACID, etc.) and it will launch Sound Forge for me with that file. Nifty thing is that that process isn't limited to the last file (or project) used. It works for any file i just happen to decide i want to use. Cool.

But generally whenever i launch Sound Forge or Vegas or ACID it's because i'm starting something new.
