I just started using my ACID pro and I am very impressed with it's easy to use setup. THis is a really awsome tool and I am just learning how to use it. But I have a Question for anyone that might know. How can I burn a CD and have a continuous mix and have seperate tracks. Acid pro talks about multiple tracks but it means multiple tracks in one song. I want to be able to put all of my music together. This means that if you have created a long mix of several songs in Acid and you would like to burn the mix it will be one long file. You could break the mix up into seperate portions and then burn them but Acid will always default to putting a 2 second pause between the songs. Two primary ways, depending on your time & budget: First and best way, but costs $: Buy a copy of either CDRWin (by Goldenhawk, www.goldenhawk.com) or Sonic Foundry's CD Architect (NOTE that this product was recently retired by Sonic Foundry). Second and cheapest way: Most CD-R(W)'s ship with a copy of EasyCD Creator from Adaptec. This program CAN create CD's that DO NOT have gaps between songs if you follow the method described below.... Create a huge wave file that represents the entirety of the music that you will be putting on the CD. Now, use an audio editor or anything else you have handy that can split the wave file into multiple pieces at the points in the music where you want the song markers to be placed. In EasyCD Creator, drag and drop these new wave files (in order) into a new Audio CD layout. Now, hit the little red "record" button on the menu and a "CD Creation Setup" window will appear. On the "Advanced Tab", choose the "Disc-At-Once" option. This will eliminate the 2 second gap between songs.
