is there a way to have Acid 2.0 slow things down below
75bpm...it doesnt seem to let me.

Go to Options>Preferences on the menu bar. You can only go down as
far as 60 bpm and as high as 240 bpm.

you can also halve the number of beats set for a loop to
achieve a halftime effect. ie, set the BPM to 100 but
really it's 50.
