Subject:no audio level to the program

SoundForge has worked well over the years, but today it will not take any audio from my mini disc player. No matter what I try, no level goes into the softward. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it, updated the software, checked for mute buttons, etc. Any idea? Help. Anybody?

Are you recording analog through your sound card? Did you change the recording input selection or volume level for the sound card?
