Sometimes a loop is available in several different root notes, sometimes not. In addition, some loops sound the same but have different rhythms. You can change the pitch of a loop in several ways in Acid. One way is to raise or lower the pitch of an Event (a painted or drawn portion of a loop) by clicking on the Event and using the numpad's + and - keys. You can also change the key of multiple Tracks and use markers to indicate key changes for a whole section. Note that, as with any sophisticated tool, implementing these techniques requires a bit of a learning curve. Thankfully, Acid's toolset makes the process mercifully lenient.
