Ok. I'm stumped. How do I export my Acid Projects to Traction 3 or Sonar 7. I've tried publishing them but the only option I have is to publish it to AcidPlanet as wma. They are not ready to be heard yet. All I want to do is create an MP3 so I can do some colabs with it. I've rewired it to both traction and Sonar and can't get the files in there. So what am I missing/doing wrong?

TIA
Gabriel

File / Render As ... choose MP3 as the file type.

One option in addition to rendering the whole project is to render each track individually so that you can still work on them in Traktion or SONAR. To do this choose File | Render As... and in the Render As window check the box that says, "Save each track as a separate file". This will give you a file for each track in your project so that you can reload the individual tracks in Tracktion or SONAR and continue to work.

Thanks for the reply guys.
As for rendering to MP3....sheesh I feel STUPID!!!!!.....lol. I'm so used to just exporting in Traction and Sonar that render as never even cossed my mind.

As far as impoerting from ACID to Traction, that's exactly what I did. And man, what a difference between the 2 hosts. I love traction for its mixing and mastering abilities but man, it eats my CPU like nobodys business.

I had 30 tracks in ACID and didn't even notice a hicup. After importing about 14 tracks into Traction the host completely shut down.

I'm now seriously thinking of using ACID Pro as my main DAW. What software do you guys use for mastering and mixing? I'm thinking mabe Soundforge since it's also a Sony product and would probably be the least hassle to work with.

Thanks again!!

I use acid pro 6 as my only host. Well, I use reason too, but I don't consider it a host. After I render a song in acid, I use Sound Forge to do any pre-mastering (normalize, compress, eq).
