Subject:Merging two files?

I have one file with the vocals and one file with the music. Any suggestions on how to merge them to ensure they properly align?

I know I can cut/paste/undo/re-paste/undo/re-paste...etc., but thought maybe one of you had a better suggestion. I currenly have version 9.a installed. I've downloaded 9.c, but haven't installed it yet.

I hate to suggest this to you after you've already got Sound Forge, but if you were using something like Vegas then you can drop the clips on the timeline one under the other and slip them back and forth while you listen to them. You can futz them back and forth as delicately as needed just by dragging the mouse. When the sync is correct, let up on the mouse button and you're done.
