They now have a "Mona" product which has the advantage of having a microphone input built in, which bypasses the need for a preamp processor when recording vocals. It's got a pretty hefty price tag for a consumer sound card ($199 at my local BestBuy), it's got some features that stand out. Technically, it's a souped up Live! card (go to creative labs website for details), but the nice extra is this little box that connects to the card internally. You then mount the box in an open slot (5.25" I believe, maybe it's 3.5"). Now you can connect all sorts of input (mic, and SPDIF for instance) and output (4 speaker surround support). This will be very handy for me.
