Christmas present for me, please ... -Sound Forge - PC

Posted by: ClipMan Date:12/9/2007 4:32:36 PM Dear Sony Santa, To top off a wonderful program (Audio Studio 9), could you allow me to grab the play cursor with my mouse and let me drag it anywhere in the file I want to? You have this behaviour in Vegas. I'd like it here too. I'm not referring to scrubbing. I snuck into the 'internal' preferences and set 'Allow Drags on Cursor' to 'TRUE' but I got excited for nothing because it didn't do it for me. So, to summarize, I need to drag the play cursor with my mouse like in Vegas. Christmas is not far off and I've been good.

Is that what you're looking for? I know it's scrubs too, but you can drag anywhere you'd like as fast as you move the mouse and drop the cursor when you let up on the button.

For me, nothing is faster than grabbing it with the mouse. Thanks for helpin' out.
