Can you tell me how when i open acid, and add tracks, all the tracks are :

1. All at the volume -14.3db on the timline and i have to turn them up!

and

2. large size tracks on the timeline and not the standard size when i add a track?

How can i reset Acid so that it behaves as normal??

The quickest way to reset everything is to hold down Ctrl & Shift while starting ACID. Beware though that this will reset everything! including any changes you really wanted to keep.

Alternatively, create a new track, set up everything exactly the way you want it, then right-mouse-button click in the track header and choose "Set default track properties". This will let you save what you've just set up as the defaults for new tracks.

A new track uses the current preview fader setting by default.

Peter :

My preview volume is at -0.3 (so nearer 0.0) but all tracks added default to -14.3 in volume?

Any ideas??

Did you change your default track properties? You may need to reset them.

how can i get it so that the standard Sony EQ is on every track when i click the FX? OR can i choose one of my own FX as a standard? like Waves???

Set up any combination of anything you want in the track header, then use the "set default track properties" to save those as new defaults.
