Subject:Really fast and really slow???

I have only had ACID Music 2.0 for a few weeks, and already
I have run into a couple instances where I need the project
tempo to be slower that 75bpm (72bpm to be exact) and faster
than 200bpm (240bpm to be exact)!! Is there any way to do
this or am I screwed??
Thanks for any input...

you don't necessarily have to use the tempo slider. try double
clicking on the tempo value (i.e. where it says: "120.000 bpm") and
type in the desired tempo. this should do the trick. i'm sure there
are limits (for ex., ACID will probably not support 1 bpm or 600
bpm), but 72 and 240 should be ok.

i'm not 100% positive that this'll work tho. you'll just have to try
it out.

(just FYI, you can set up the min/max bpm of the tempo slider in
ACID's Preferences. i believe the range is from 60 to 240 bpm.)

Acid does have upper and lower limits for BPM. The lower limit, which
Terry may have run into, is 75BPM. In Acid Pro you can change the
lower limit to 60BPM in Preferences, but in Acid Music the limits
cannot be altered.

One way around this might be to manually double the number of beats
on the Properties pages for all the loops and then set the project
tempo at double what you need. i.e. 72BPM x 2 = 144BPM. Stretching
may not be very optimal using this method, but it should work OK for
rhythmic material.

there are limits, but if you want, it would be some work, and a
pain..but you could just do it in 120 for example to do 240 and halve
all the lenghts of your loops, but that might be more trouble than
its worth and might sound unnatural anyway.
