I have a Digi002 Rack that I use as my sound card with ACID. My problem is that the ASIO drivers seem to have taken over the PCs sound so that I can’t get any sound out of it outside of ACID. In other words, if I just play an MP3 file without ever opening ACID, no sound comes out in real player or whatever. ACID/Digi002 Rack seem to have the sound locked up on my audio pc. I need to be able to listen to music outside of ACID. Thoughts on what might be going on? Thx, Rick |

It sounds like the Digi002 became the default Windows sound device. To change this in Windows go into Start | Control Panel | Sounds and Audio Devices | Audio tab and under Sound Playback / Default Device select your motherboard sound chip (whatever device you want Windows sounds to come out of). Press Apply and you should be all set. ~jr Message last edited on12/6/2007 6:30:31 PM byJohnnyRoy. |
