please help! I am trying to record more than one track while having the origional track playing. In other words, I recorded an acoustic track and I want to record vocals over top while playing the accoustic track so I can get my timing right. No matter what I try, i get horrible quality. I tried using headphones so my mic wouldn't pick up the track playing back, but Still no luck. What can I do to record multiple tracks AND get good quality?

Maybe the proper term is clip instead of track? I hope I am making sense! Im new at this:)

Without knowing more about your recording setup it's hard to say because you profile is empty. I assume the horrible quality is the guitar track bleeding into the vocals (otherwise why would you try and remedy it with headphones). If that is the case, read FAQ 640 which explains that your audio card is probably recording the entire stereo mix instead of just the vocals.
