Subject:Trouble recording audio Posted by: Ace Fortune Date:12/2/2007 1:16:44 PM Hello! I just bought the new version of acid and a samson CO1U usb mic. The problem I am having is clarity and low volume when I record voices. I can't seem to fix this. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Since this is a USB mic is acts as a sound device. Did it come with any software to control the volume? Otherwise go into the Windows audio control panel and adjust the volume there. No, no need to pan. This is because the microphone is mono. Therefore you should be recording in ACID as mono not stereo. Then it will come out of both speakers. Only record stereo sources in stereo. ~jr

No, no need to pan. This is because the microphone is mono. Therefore you should be recording in ACID as mono not stereo. Then it will come out of both speakers. Only record stereo sources in stereo.
