Subject:Save metadata checkbox clears

For some reason the "Save metadata with file" checkbox option clears on it's own. In previous versions this value persisted. Is there option that I can set that will resolve this.

The state of the checkbox will only persist if you actually save (OK) something. Is this the issue? If not, perhaps it is a registry access issue. Do other preferences (e.g. anything in the Options->Preferences pages) persist correctly?

I’ve been using this program through several revisions and this has never been an issue. I also haven’t noticed this problem with any other preferences that I’ve set just yet. I do regular windows updates which can muddy the waters from time to time. (As far as how applications perform)
Is there a registry key being set when I check this box? If so, is there any reason the application would reset it?

If the other prefs are persisting, this is not a registry access issue.

Again, the checkbox state is only saved if you OK the Save after you change it. This has always been the case.

What types of files are you seeing this with?

When I switch from saving to a Wave format to a Sound Forge Project File format the checkbox clears. Mystery solved. I don't know if this is by design, but at least I know what's causing the checkbox state to change.
