Subject:Monitoring FROM ACID/ SAMPLING FROM SF 4.5

when i trigger the sound regions I want in Soundforge to
play on my external controller, I want to use ACID to
record into while montoring my other tracks.....I can get
the tracks to playback just fine when recording, the only
problem I am running into is that the signal from the sound
events are being recorded very low, almost non-existent!!!
I hear the sound events being recorded, so my playback and
recording options are all ok, and i have my MIDI volume
fader on my SB PC1512(soundcard) all the way up, as well as
the other soundcard inputs/outputs......why is the level of
recording so low, it's a mono sample, but that shouldn't do
anything w/ the amplitude of the signal, how can I route
the audio signal being played in SF (a virtual sample being
triggered) to be recorded by ACID as regions are triggered
and have no signal loss.....is it a software configuration
or wahat, i don't think it's my audio on my sound card b/c
i'm only using MIDI I/O......and Line Out for playback in
my monitor speakers of course......please let me know if I
need to configure ACID to record directly from audio region
being triggered in SF 4.5....thanks a lot nate

Hello Nate.

To me, it sounds like a mixer setting that needs to be
adjusted...but, it's really hard to tell.

Not every card can record it's own output/MIDI signal.

Unfortunately there's not much we can suggest here, you would have to
refer to your soundcard manual for this one.

Thanks.
