Trying to fix a peak by enlarging the displayed waveform to 1:24, marking a part (for example: 00:01:10,550 to 00:01:10,600) and using Process Volume (f.e. -18) seems to be impossible with version 9. In version 8 my peak got reduced that way. In version 9 only the volume in the middle of the marked part got reduced. Right an left beside the middle the volume got only reduced a little bit. If I use the Volume Envelope via right klick, all works well. Do I do something wrong? |

Remove the edge fades in the "More..." section of the dialog. You can save this as the default for all effects by right-clicking and selecting "Save Fade Values" down there, as well. J. |

I recall there was a bug in an earlier version of SF-9. This process works OK on my PC with ver.9c. If I'm reading this correctly, This is matter of changing the cross-fade parameter. In the Volume window click "More" and select the linear "X". In addition, You can Right-Click the right side of that window and select "Save Current", which will be the default. |

That's it!!! :-))) I didn't hit the "more" button. Now I discovered the fade in and out time. So I decreased it till zero and all worked well. Thanks very much for your support. Has anyone a solvation for my second problem with the save as dialog window? |
