i have currently been working around with using an external controller to trigger loops (one shot, disk-based stuff too) and find it easy to trigger commands on the loops (like front, end, stop, play all, play looped, play no loop etc etc....(all in Sound Forge 4.5) i am wondering if there is any way to be able to trigger multiple loops/samples by assigning them to keys on the external controller, which, by the way, has only MIDI I/0.....i'm using a SB PC1512 (using the joystick MIDI adapter) to run MIDI..(into my cheap Yamaha PSR-36)...can I trigger more than one loop/sample and essentally turn my Soundforge software into a quasi-softeware sampler.....and speaking of software samplers, does anyone experienced w/ giga sampler? or could I configure ACID to be MIDI triggered by an external controller? let me know PLEASE!!!! nate |

Hello. No, there are no functions in Acid which would allow you to do this. Thanks. nate wrote: >>i have currently been working around with using an external >>controller to trigger loops (one shot, disk-based stuff >>too) and find it easy to trigger commands on the loops >>(like front, end, stop, play all, play looped, play no loop >>etc etc....(all in Sound Forge 4.5) i am wondering if there >>is any way to be able to trigger multiple loops/samples by >>assigning them to keys on the external controller, which, >>by the way, has only MIDI I/0.....i'm using a SB PC1512 >>(using the joystick MIDI adapter) to run MIDI..(into my >>cheap Yamaha PSR-36)...can I trigger more than one >>loop/sample and essentally turn my Soundforge software into >>a quasi-softeware sampler.....and speaking of software >>samplers, does anyone experienced w/ giga sampler? or >>could I configure ACID to be MIDI triggered by an external >>controller? let me know PLEASE!!!! nate |
