Subject:Serial number rejection

I just purchased Acid Music Studio 7 upgrade and downloaded and installed it. When I try to run it won't accept my serial number which I received via e-mail. I thought I would uninstall and reinstall, but I can't do that because of an error in the registry. Anyone have any ideas?
