Subject:Acid 1.0 incompatible with Win2K?

Hi,

I currently use Acid 1.0 with Win98, and am thinking of
upgrading to Win2K.

I have heard that under Win2K, Acid 1.0 will NOT read
in .acd projects that were created under Win98. Is this
true, and if so, what is the solution?

Thanks, PLEASE EMAIL RESPONSE: mblais1@usa.net

We've tested your scenario below with no problems. If there are
others who have seen problems with Win2000 and ACID, please drop us a
line with a description of the problem and your system. Thanks

Hi,

I have a VM problem with Acid 2.0 pro under win2k.

I can load a song, but if I hit play, taskman's memory graph jumps
from 80megs to 1.1gigs...and a second or two later, I get a
discouraging message about being out of VM.

I tried updating to 2.0d, but the problem has persisted.

Acid's own memory display shows that the song uses 37.9/256MB of my
available RAM. The disk has 3.4 gigs of free space.

Please contact me about a solution. Thanks.

chris
