Subject:Recording whatever my computer is playing...

In v8 I could record whatever my computer was playing at the time. Like if I was streaming a song, I could record it real time with SF.

Now with v9 I can't.

My record playback device is my soundcard, Delta 1010LT, but still won't do it.

I seems like there used to be a pulldown window right in the recording window with options like what input channel to use and all. Where is that now?

Ok - couple of things spring to mind. What OS are you using?

Second, 1010LT has a control panel that allows you to set inputs for monitor mix - that can allow you to record what you hear.

Third, the pull-box is not quite as it may have been - now, under preferences you can specify which in's and out's you can use, and when you choose record, you will see a blue "1" next to the meter - click on that to select your inputs.

That did it, Kenny, thanks.
