does acid music 1.0 support opening mp3 files? -ACID Product Family

Subject:does acid music 1.0 support opening mp3 files? Posted by: dj_mak Date:3/15/2000 2:07:00 AM Does anyone know if there is way to open up MP3 files in acid music 1.0 or if there's a plugin or update that will? I know it saves as mp3 but it only opens up .wav files...thanks

They must be converted over into an uncompressed format (.WAV) before you can utilize them. Programs like Winamp (http://www.winamp.com) will allow you to do this, however, we do not support that program or the process of doing so... No, Acid can not open up .MP3 files. They must be converted over into
an uncompressed format (.WAV) before you can utilize them.
