Subject:Please Help a Lost Soul,Mix to New Track

Greetings,
I am trying to figger out how to "Mix to New Track" a mono
signal and have the resulting new track to also be mono.
Each time I use "Mix to New Track", and I am starting with
a mono signal, I always wind up with the new track as a
stereo signal.

Please Shine a Flood Light on this subject and let me get
my mind right. What I have is a failure to communicate with
the program. Is it impossible to "Mix to New Track" in mono?
The program is Acid 2.0

Any response will be highly appreciated by me. You can bet
your sweet bippy on that.

As far as I know, this can't be done. You just have to mix to a new
stereo track and make it mono in your editor (Sound Forge, for
example). If there is another way, I too would like to know about
it...
