Subject:Sound Card with Acid?

my question is more about hardware than software. Im about to either purchase Acid Pro or Vegas. Which would be the best sound card for me to purchase? im a musician, so my desire for great sound is important, but i also must consider cost. thanks to anyone for any help.

Hi Jamey
I'm assuming your on a PC system. I'm using Acid Music 2.0, and I've
got a creative labs PCI512 sound board. It has worked great, and
works very well with Acid, for play and record at the same time.

Howdy Jamey,
Iffin you got the Dough, go for the Yamaha YXG1000. You will most
likely be tickled pink with this card. I would think you'd be
completely amazed with it. It costs $500 or less.
