Hi:

I have a question regarding copyright issues with music
created using acid dj.
Could anybody tell me if the the music on acid dj can be
used royalty free for commercial use as well?
I can't seem to find this stated explicitly anywhere.
Thanks.

Yes, you can use the loops royalty free in any of your projects. It
does state this somewhere, but I'm not near any of the discs or docs
to give you the exact location. All of the loop discs are royalty
free as long as you are the original purchaser of the license.

>>The first sentence of the Acid agreement is as follows...

"You are free to use these loops in your original compositions
WITHOUT RESTRICTION." If you create a composition consisting of more
than one loop, then you can use it WITHOUT RESTRICTION. That means
that (just like playing an insturment) your original composition is
copywrite protected, and you can therefore resell that composition
under you're own terms. You cannot however, resell the loops
themselves.

I'm not a legal guy, but everyone I've asked about it says this is so.

Good luck
