hey all, im into techno/rave/trance music and unfortunatly i bought acid rock a few months ago, and i'm not as much into rock anymore as i am techno. I'm kindof unclear as what loop cd's are good for this kind of music. any suggestions would be great. thanks! |

That type of music uses everything. The best thing to do (in my beginner opinion) is to create your own loops. I have Acid Music 2.0 and Sound Forge XP. It's easy to take sounds off of CD's using Acid Music 2.0 (I really don't know about Acid Rock), and then take those sounds and manipulate them in Sound Forge XP. THe advantage of Acid Music and Sound Forge is you get effects (distortion, chorus, reverb, etc.) so you can really make your new sample almost unrecognizable from the original sound. If that just takes too much time, I recently got NY Dance from www.acidplanet.com and it's real good for that. If you go to that site, it lets you listen to a few loops before you buy. There are a lot of great pre-made samples, but I think in techno, a pre-made sample is kind of like listening to a rock cover band. My opinion though. paul bradish wrote: >>hey all, im into techno/rave/trance music and unfortunatly >>i bought acid rock a few months ago, and i'm not as much >>into rock anymore as i am techno. I also bought Q-Loops New York Dance 1 & 2 and Phat Tracks. I think they are great and they have renewed my enthusiasm after becoming bored with the Acid Music Loops. At $19.99 each they are great. I recommend staying away from Syntonic whatever which I did not find worthwhile for $59.99. By the way the 59.99 disks can be bought for 29.99 from zzsounds.com Tony Bob Francis wrote: >>That type of music uses everything.
