Subject:Problems chasing MTC

I just recently bought Acid Pro 2.0 for the sole purpose of
using it as a slave to my Roland digital 8-track.
(Otherwise I would have just bought Acid Music.)

As far as I can tell, Acid can only be a slave via MTC -
not via MIDI clock - which is a minor bummer.

The problem is, the MTC quits working in Acid after about 3
minutes. This problem is addressed in the Acid Users Guide,
but shutting down all background apps doesn't have any
effect.

Futhermore, when MTC is working, the Acid loops do not
start playing until measure 1 beat 3.

I'm beginning to feel that dishing out the extra 180 bucks
to get MIDI support was a waste of money. Any suggestions?

Never slave with Acid - always use it as the master!
Yeah, I know it's a bummer, but that's the size of it for Ver2
SF say they're working on it for ver 3. Slaving, I mean.
