Subject:General Tips about Acid Music

Hi there.

I am new to Acid Music and generally new to making music
this way. I am doing this for fun and to take my mind of
my boring old day job and to make some CD's for friends
etc. I have a couple of questions;

I have used Acid Music with the included CD and Syntonic
Generator for 3 weeks. I must say that I am starting to
get a little bored with the results as I find that without
some melody or exitement the tracks start to get repetetive
after a while. Anyone have any thoughts that might help me.

I am not a singer, so I was wondering if there are ways to
buy or get vocal tracks to use ?

Is there such a thing as a MIDI computer music keyboard
that can be purchased. I have no interest in a keyboard
for anything other than making computer music and I do not
have the room for the large size keyboards you get at Radio
Shack etc. I am looking for a 2-3 Octave, Midi keyboard,
cheap, that need not have any great internal sound features.

Any tips for livening up my tracks would be appreciated.

Thanks

Tony

Cakewalk Pro Audio is essentially a multi-track sequencer
synthesizer. I use it to create custom loops using piano, trumpet,
pads - virtually everything but guitar and vocals. You can enter the
notes manually (piano roll, music sheet) or in real-time (MIDI
keyboard). Cakewalk is sweet.

The biggest problem with Cakewalk is the price.
