I use acid for percussion/rythm only, because I am a pianist with a good keyboard for the other instruments. A few days ago I used record to play a guitar track into the the track list as the Acid drummer did its stuff. the result was only a guitar take. Now I try to do that again and the result is always a mix of the percussion tracks and my synth guitar part. I can't solo the guitar. I am using a soundblaster with Live drive, and acid 2.o. Does anybody know how i got my first results of a solo guitar take...acidized (quantized I guess too) I don't find a drop down list for choosing a source for the record track (as described in the help file). thanks if anyone has a comment on recording a wave into acid in synch with the work already there. With a SB Live, you have to set up the Windows Mixer or the SB mixer to select your recording source. ACID has no control over how the hardware is routed. I have recorded several complete songs using as many as twenty-five tracks. I've never had this problem. Sounds like you need to review the setup of your sound card mixers, record source, etc. This is not an Acid problem but a sound card software setup problem. Salute, Jon |
