Subject:loops for acid

i am interested in loops for acid. do i need to purchase
acid to use these loops? if i do, can i use it in
conjunction with cool edit pro? i am i newbie to this stuff
so any info will be extremely appreciated.

You don't need ACID to use the loops. But they do contain extra data
that tells ACID the root note for transposing and the BPM. But your
software will treat them just like any other .wav file.
