Posted by: Ottomar Date:10/28/2007 2:10:24 PM Hello All, I recently purchased the Melodyn Plug-in and realized I should have checked the forum to determine the softwares compatibility with Acid 6.0d before buying, I understand that the elusive Acid 7.0 may resolve this incompatiblity however this point is difficult to conclude from the forum. Does anyone have a sence as to when the product will be available as an upgrade and if it will be compatible with the more intellegent plug-ins like Melodyne? I hope it is and soon. The Steinberg Cubase 4.1 looks very appealing as well as a host of others that seem to be truly interested in maintaining or growing their market share. I hate to be forced to move on from Acid my first DAW love however It may be a forced issue unless Sony can deliver a viable updated host.
