Subject:Acid Music Song Length Limit?

Is there a song length limit in Acid Music 2.0? When I
drag the end point of the loop region it only goes up to
about 1:30. Is there another way to adjust the loop region,
or is this a limitiation of the program?

Thanks!

It should scroll on out past 1:30 if you keep dragging to the screen
edge. If it doesn't, something is wrong.

I don't know if this will be part of your problem or not, but ACID is
a RAM hog. So if you don't have a lot, your resources will get used
up very fast. I have 128Mb and a song with a lot of large samples
with effects applied will put my system to the test.

A word to the wise - save often. It would be a shame to lose that
once in a lifetime mix to a system lock-up!

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply and the advice, but it doesn't go past that
point no matter what I do. I don't have as much RAM as you do, but
I wouldn't think that this would be a problem even before I lay any
tracks down.

Looks like this is one for tech support.

Thanks again!

So, if I understand this right, you haven't laid any loops in? In
that case, what you're seeing is expected behavior. Throw in 1 1/2
minutes if loops, and you'll see that the program lets you go for as
long as you need to. ACID itself doesn't impose any restrictions of
song/file size, but Windows does have a 2 gig limit for .wav files.
Hope this helps you.
