No AutoChaptering???

I want to just be able to click a button and automatically have markers added at each 5 minute mark like I can do with just about any other DVD authoring software. Is this really missing in DVD Architect??? I like to be able to have people skip through DVDs if they want but I don't want to have to manually pick and scroll each time I do this. Especially since the timeline doesn't even show even increments!!

I know this won't help, but I usually do this in Vegas - there are a number of scripts available that will set markers at every x interval, then when I render out of Vegas I include the markers with the media, and if I'm really worried about frame accuracy, I'll tell Vegas to put an I-Frame at every marker.

Then, when all of this is brought in to DVDA, I have frame accurate chapter markers.

If you want to generate the chapter (.sfl) file from the chapter markers in Vegas without having to rerender you can use this script

If you're not rendering in Vegas, &/or don't want to go with the scripts offered, double click the time display, change the figure (adding 5 min.), hit enter, & insert the chapter. Or go along the timeline and insert a chapter at every 5 minute interval. Once you've got the first 3, you can judge pretty accurately where to click from then on -- just a matter of the same space between markers.
