WHEN I TRY TO SAVE 4 min. OF AUDIO, I GET 50 min! HELP! -ACID Product Family

Subject:WHEN I TRY TO SAVE 4 min. OF AUDIO, I GET 50 min! HELP! Posted by: discostarr Date:1/5/2000 8:33:00 AM I have a song that is 3 min. long, but when i try to "save as" WAV(so i can encode into MP3) i get 47:50! 3 min. of audio and 44 min of silence! Ive even tryed "mix to new track" and i still get 47:50. Ive tryed playing with the "set loop" thingie, but its the same news. Ive uploaded it into a WAV editor but i dont have enough mem to edit the WAV becuase its so big. Can anyone help?? thanx.

sounds like you've recorded a bunch of silence, i once did that and
it made a big old file...check it!
