Ok, correct me if I'm wrong, but I log in, and go to the "FREE FULLY FUNCTIONAL VERSIONS" area, download Acid 2.0, and it asks me for a serial #... And without one, you get a 7 day trial... Don't get me wrong, I'm just saying... HELLO, McFLY... If its NOT free, should it NOT be posted under the FREE area... Or is it that I just didn't download it at the write time... Is this one of those long distance company scams? Just curious... |

I'm just saying... HELLO DUMBASS... If they gave the software away how would they stay in business? ACID Xpress is the FREE version, all the others are FULLY FUNCTIONAL TRIAL VERSIONS. It says so clearly on the download page... gotta be another A.D.D. schizoid... I'm not saying they should give ANYTHING away for free... All I said was that it should say free if it isn't... The download I got from the FREE area asked for a unlock code on install and only gave a 7 day trial... I fully support software, but I don't think it should say free if it isn't... And believe me.. I got it from the right place... I just wanted to try it first... Shithead.. Can't you even read? Alien Farms wrote: >>I'm just saying... HELLO DUMBASS... Okay, I'm a shithead... I'll get over it. I'll try a little civility and we'll see what gives... First, what are you logging into and where are you trying to download from? I'm looking at the download page in another window right now at this URL: http://www.sonicfoundry.com/download/ The top of the first column of software downloads says: Free Software (Fully functioning free versions) ACID XPress SIREN XPress which is then followed by: Trial Versions (Limited time full versions) ACID DJ 2.0 ACID Hip-Hop 2.0 ACID Music 2.0 ACID PRO 2.0 ACID Rock 2.0 ExpressFX 1 ExpressFX 2 Noise Reduction 2.0 Stream Anywhere Vegas Pro XFX 1 XFX 2 XFX 3 it goes on to list other demos, songs, and updates. I do not see anywhere on this page where you can download a Fully Functional Free Version of ACID 2.0 - if this isn't the page you're seeing then I could be wrong. ACID XPress is a fully functional free version that does not require a serial number, but it is limited to 8 tracks and no plug-ins. But you can do an instant upgrade from the help menu to the trial versions of ACID Music or ACID Pro for seven days. If you don't purchase and register the upgrade, then it reverts back to the limited XPress version - but does not expire. Peace dude, it ain't worth the high blood pressure.
