Just bought ACID 2.0 build 60 and registered. The product info says the program comes with "hundreds of loops". There is a disc in the box labeled "loops", but it's blank. Tech support has not been answering at(608)256 5555. Does anyone know if ACID 2.0 in fact does come with loops? If so where are they? thanks |

Hi, I had the same problem. Apparently build 60 included some loop diskc that were blank.I returned the offensive disks to my retailer and demanded an exchange for a new set and got some from build 71 that worked just fine. The only beef I have is that I think the registration system is a pain in the ---!! Good luck, Jeff Stewart pheseltine wrote: >>Just bought ACID 2.0 build 60 and registered. >>The product info says the program comes with >>"hundreds of loops". Thanks Jeff - Problem is, we bought Music 2.0 by direct mail from SF. So with tech support not answering, it's hard to get an exchange! I think that the registration system is something that should be made clear up-front - before you buy the product. I have big reservations about employing a system that identifies my machine every time I log onto the SF site - that's what the computer ID + cookie does. There has been a good deal of discussion about all of this unique computer ID on other forums. In general, most people believe that it's not appropriate. While no one should or can condone illegal copying of a program, I guess I wonder if SF is more likely to be pirated than say WordPerfect or games? Most do not require this kind of invasion of privacy to protect against piracy. Jeff Stewart wrote: >>Hi, >> >>I had the same problem. Hey! I got through to tech suport this am and they agree that there was a problem with the loop discs. They are sending me another. So now I guess I'll just play with the demo :-( Does anyone know of lops discs that have a classical music bent? I guess new age would be OK too. I am looking for loops that convey a sense of water - for U/W videos. Thanks pheseltine wrote: >>Thanks Jeff - >> >>Problem is, we bought Music 2.0 by direct mail from SF. Hey Spaceto, The new featured artist series may have some new age stuff...I am going to order "Robin Storey" and "Marc Anderson" as soon as I can afford to... If you find any other loops along this vein let me know.....Peace, Jeff spaceto wrote: >>Hey! I got through to tech suport this am and they agree that there >>was a problem with the loop discs.
