Posted by: Bpunkt Date:12/1/1999 3:00:00 AM When I prewiew wav files,taken from internet,CDs and homemades(done in ReBirth for example) the file is played with completely wrong bpm,2343bpm for example,why do Acid do this to wav files then even the simplest wav player adjust the right bpm? hopefully the problem is me and my incompetens... Namely, it's matching the tempo of your .wav loops to the Project tempo you have set in ACID. That's part of the magic of ACID that allows you to combine all kinds of different loops to create a cohesive song. Also, when using non-Sonic Foundry loops, you should "ACIDize" them so as to maximize their effectiveness within ACID. The ACID help files contain a good discussion on ACIDizing, and how to do it. If I understand your question correctly, ACID is simply doing what it
is designed to do. Namely, it's matching the tempo of your .wav loops
to the Project tempo you have set in ACID. That's part of the magic
of ACID that allows you to combine all kinds of different loops to
create a cohesive song.
