Does anyone know where I can get loops of single sounds? I would like to get single sounds of each drun in a drum set for example so that I can make my own drum beat. Or is this program not made for this? thanks Vince |

Yo, Vince! One shots work fine in Acid. You'll find lots of them in several of the loop libraries, amongst others : Universal Groove Elements Bill Laswell Methods of Mayhem On the Jazz Tip Check them out! :]FishNose |

There are several single drum hit libraries out there (my recent fave is MegaDance Drums - a large collection of samples from old drum machines). A couple of the major samples dealers are Big Fish Audio (http://www.bigfishaudio.com/) and East-West Sounds (http://www.eastwestsounds.com/sostatic/home.shtml). Acid work with individual drums just fine as one-hits. But be forewarned, you currently can't use one-hits to do triplet patterns (unless you get really clever/extraordinarily anal and edit the acid file with a HexEditor).
