Subject:wave-editing headers

I'm a technical ludite, so be kind....
I very recently purchased an HP CD-R Writer Plus 7510e, and
included in the software (along with Adaptic Easy CD
Creator) was ACID MUSIC 1.0. Now my question may seem quite
simple (I'm hoping anyway), but when I record in DAO, the
software is writing the soundfiles with the headers attached
(resulting in fluttering and a click at the start of each
track when played back on a CD player).
My question, can the ACID MUSIC program remove these
headers, and if so... how the hell do I do it?!

By the way, the songs are being ripped from CD's... they are
not MP3's or anything like that. Thank you for any help that
you can provide.

I would try opening the files in ACID, zoom in and edit off any
spikes or glitches you see at the start of the audio and then save it
out as a "Mixed Wave File". Worth a try, at least. I think all wave
files have a basic header but this should not be audible on an audio
CD. If there is data making a pop, it's because it's probably
something non-standard or proprietary, and saving a wave file from
ACID should remove it. Or it might be caused by writing the discs in
several track-at-once sessions, you might get better results writing
the entire CD at one time.
