Question: I am new to this forum.....Hi all.

I brought into ACID Pro 6.0, 7 audio tracks from a hard disk recorder and 1 midi track from the same hard disk recorder. Those 8 tracks are in sinc to each other.

Is there a way to get these 8 tracks mentioned above in sync with ACID's grid? If so, how?

Hi Strat,

I take it you have the clips/events already laid out on the timeline? If so, simply use the Draw Tool (Ctrl + D is the shortcut) to click and drag the clips to where you want them.

set the bpm of the project to the bpm of the audio files and the tracks will sync with ACID's grid.

That is the first step but it will only work if you recorded the tracks to a click-track so that the whole song is at a consistent tempo. If not you can map the tempo of the project (grid) to match the song. I have a tutorial on this process which I call Tempo Mapping.

on a hard disk recorder I recorded all tracks at 160 beats per minute
the Acid projects is at 120 beats per minute.
I did not want beatmap all the tracks. I was hoping I could change
grid spacing to match up with existing tracks.

Setting the ACID timeline to 160 bpm would probably be a good first step, don'tcha think? Simply double-click on the 120 and type in 160 instead.

When I set the song to 160bpm in Acid the song is
playing way faster than written. The right speed is
when it plays at 120 bpm in Acid.

You need to tell ACID what the "tempo" of the wave files are or tell ACID to treat the files as "one shots".
