Are all the loops in all the new 2.0 versions entirely new,
or the same or overlapping with the 1.0 versions of the
respective products?

Reports are that the core Acid product is the same. The loops are
the same too.

Geez, that's SAD.....
New loops would have given a true incentive to upgrade.
