I've been reading all this rather passionate discussion about MTC slaving problems. My problem goes the other way. I'm using Acid Pro and Cakewalk 8 on the same PII 400 machine using the SF MIDI router with Lexicon Core2 & AWE64. I'm trying to use Acid as sync master and CW as slave. No matter what sync type (MTC or Midi click) or check boxes and options I check the two programs drift apart. (Now I thought both sync types actually chase-lock.) I've even offset the two apps tempos (e.g. Acid @ 120.00 bpm and CW at 120.04 bpm). I seems different each time I start the song. The problem is also apparent when I try this using two computers. I've also contacted Twelve Tone as well but my problem seems related to these other Acid problems I thought I'd send this post. P.S. please no dickhead flames to each other. Let's just get things solved like professionals we all are. |

..Geoff..a lot of guys here would love to get this problem fixed..but nothing can be done until sonic foundry get off there ass and fix the problem..we can be as professional as we like but , unfortunatley that isnt working..I bought this like many others for the expressed purpose of putting it on one machine and locking it to another..like using it as a sampler..but it aint working..and it aint working for a lot of people simply because the program drifts out of sync..noit by much ..but enough for it to sound like shit. ..sonic..its a great program ..but unless you can lock it to another program..theres nothing "PRO" about Acid Pro |
