Subject:Acid Pro 2.0 - back order status ?

they start shipping (trying to get an idea of when to

I think all this is extremely dubious. Although I've appreciated
Sonic Foundry's programming expertise, they seem to have been taken
over by their marketing department. ACID PRO 2.0 adds no significant
enhancements over 1.0d apart from various bundled Sonic Foundry
products. In other words, don't bother.

Absolutely--there's nothing unusual about the current release lag time at all. In fact, if they bang it out by 9/1, they'll be ahead of the game.
