Subject:sample clicks

i use goldwave to record samples and also for wave
editing. for the most part i get pretty good samples
(mostly direct from a keyboard or amp), but lately i've
noticed that alot of my keyboard samples have clicks at the
beginning of the sample. could someone tell me why i get
this click and, if possible, if i could eliminate it?

It might be that youv'e got your input volume set to high. I suggest
turning it down a notch or two and seeing if this cures it. If not try
recording the same loop a few times and seeing wether one out of the
bunch is ok.
