Subject:acid music "skipping"

my acid music "skips". i knowi probably can't eliminate
this problem, but does anyone know how i can at least
minimize it? i have a 166 mhz processor and 64k of ram.

go to preferences ,go to sync, chase to midi time code setting
go to input device , choose your sound card ,click apply
