The first thing to do might be to update a few things. Start with your SB drivers. Driver updates from Creative are available at: http://support.soundblaster.com/files/download.asp Also go to our Download page an get the latest version of Acid. If you still experience this crashing after taking care of the above, Please call our Technical Support line for help with this issue. The number is (608)256-5555. We answer 7AM to 10PM Central Monday through Friday. It is best to call from a phone near your computer and have your serial number available. shouldn't happen". The first thing to do might be to update
a few things. Start with your SB drivers. Driver updates from

Also go to our Download page an get the latest version of Acid.
