Subject:Clipping and distortion?

Hi I am a new user of Acid Dj, it seems like a pretty cool
program, but I can't seem to get rid of the clipping and
distortion that occurs during playback. Alot of the samples
seem very 8-bit and static and the clipping that occurs is
quite random, a sample will play fine for a few loops then I
get this nasty "PoP" that sends the meters at the bottom
into the red. I updated my drivers to direct x-6 and even
downloaded the update for Acid Style but the problem
continues. Anyone out there have any ideas?
Peace ~~~~~ Ryan

Ryan,

What sound card do you have? Are you using any other
applications which play Wave files for comparison?

It would be best to call us or write to support@sonicfoundry.com
for issues such as this.
